Marilyn Jackson

Marilyn Kay Jackson, 33, of Albion, died February 7, 1994 at University Hospitals in Ann Arbor from injuries suffered in an automobile accident.  Marilyn was driving a vehicle on westbound I-94 near M-60 in Balckman Township late Sunday evening when she lost control of her car.  Kevin Duane Robinson, 33, of Albion was with her.  He was taken to Foote Hospital for observation.

Ms. Jackson was born on February 17, 1960 in Albion to Francis Martin and Gertha Mae (Tate) Jackson.

She was a lifelong Albion resident and a 1979 graduate of Albion High School.  She attended Davenport Business College.  She was employed as a home visit social worker and a receptionist-secretary for Head Start.  She was a member of Grace Temple Church of God in Christ.

She is survived by her father and step-mother Francis and Callie Jackson of Nesbit, Mississippi; daughters Shanika Jackson and Sierra Robinson, both of Albion; son Kevin Robinson of Albion; brothers Wayne (Rose) Jackson of Albion, Dennis (Lenora) Jackson, Sr. of Albion, Erwin (Treva) Jackson, Sr. of Albion, Danny (Ann) Jackson of Jackson, David (Dawn) Jackson of Richmond, Virginia and Ontario Jackson of Decatur, Georgia; sisters Mrs. Belinda Robinson of Decatur and Mrs. Luvorn (Marie) Caldwell, Jr. of Albion; step-sister Mrs. Ezell (Barbara) Smith of Montgomery, Alabama; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and a special friend.  She was preceded in death by her mother and brother, Terry.
