Michelle J. Gossett Of Jackson, MI, age 57, went home to be with her Lord on January 4, 2019. "For the battle is not yours it's the Lords" (2Chron 20:15) is a verse Michelle lived by. She was truly a solider throughout her journey of life.

Michelle was born to parents, Eugene Gossett and Mary Fay Johnson on June 28, 1961 in Jackson, MI. She attended Jackson and Albion public schools. Continuing her education, she went on to earn a degree in Office Administration from Jackson Community College. Before retiring, Michelle spent 28 years working for the Jackson Police Department.

Michelle was preceded in death by both her parents, Eugene Gossett and Mary Fay Johnson. She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her 9 siblings; four children: Michael (Angela), Frankie, Felicia and Colin; 6 beloved grandchildren and one on the way.

Michelle spent a lot of her time loving and serving the Lord. You could always find her attending or working for her church, Faith Nation. She always showed everyone that crossed her pathway genuine love and compassion. Always smiling and going out of her way to make others feel special.  Michelle is missed.
