Patricia A. Thomas, of Albion, died on August 25, 1990, at the University of Michigan Hospital in Ann Arbor following a short illness. She was 29.
She was born on March 17, 1961, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, to Jessie Thomas and the former Marie Wilson.
She came to Albion in 1972 from Vicksburg. She attended Albion Public Schools, where she graduated in 1979. She was a 1989 graduate of the Registered Nurse program at Jackson Community College. She was employed as a registered nurse at Foote Hospital before she became ill.
Survivors include her father, Jessie Thomas of Chicago; her mother, Marie Thomas of Albion; and three brothers, Perry Thomas of Albion, Jessie Thomas III of Albion and Danny C. Thomas who is in the U. S. Army.

Here's what Pat shared for our 10 year reunion...
After graduationg from high school, I worked for nine years at Albion Manor Care Center in Dietary. Graduated April 27, 1989 from Jackson Community College with an Associate's degree in Applied Arts and Sciences. I now work at Foote Hospital on the Pediatrics Unit. Long term goals include getting my Bachelor's in nursing and becoming a certified pediatrics nurse.
